Géographe Bay was named in May 1801 by French explorer Nicolas Baudin after his ship. The bay is a wide curve of coastline extending from Cape Naturaliste past the towns of Dunsborough and Busselton, ending near the city of Bunbury. Protected from the rough seas of the Indian Ocean by Cape Naturaliste, which makes it a popular destination for recreational boaters. The bay is extremely shallow, limiting the entrance of large ships. To alleviate the problem the amazing 2-kilometre long Busselton Jetty, the longest in the southern hemisphere, was built. You will have the opportunity to visit the Jetty, a great spot for a walk and also some fantastic photo opportunities.

The bay attracts whale watchers, who see it as an alternative to Flinders Bay. The north west part of the bay is the location of a number surf breaks.

Travel onto Cape Naturalist Lighthouse followed by a tour of Ngilgi cave (previously known as Yallingup Cave). Edward Dawson discovered it in 1899 when searching for stray horses.

Being able to decide where to go and Vicki the tour guide was so helpful. We went to several wineries, Busselton jetty, the cheese factory, noughts shop and had the coffee tasting!

From the time Vicki picked me up at my hotel, until she dropped me back (with big farewell hugs), this was such an incredibly enjoyable and wonderful day! Whist there is a planned itinerary, Vicki made it clear that the day was mine - we would visit places I was interested in. The itinerary was as flexible as I wanted it to be. I had a few 'must visits', but took Vicki's advice on various other places to visit. It was my first visit to anywhere south of Bunbury and Vicki - who is extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the entire area - made me fall in love with the area and want to return over and over. Possibly the best day tour I've ever been on. Vicki is a genuinely thoughtful person who loves what she does with a passion, loves getting to know her guests, and loves ensuring they get the best experience possible from their day out. Highly Recommended for families, solo or small group travellers. Thankyou so much for such a great day of lifetime memories!

We joined the Margaret River tour organised by Kandu Holidays last week and it was simply amazing. Our tour guide, Vicky, was very passionate and knowledgeable about WA and was able to adjust the itinerary on the fly according to our needs and interests. Although the ride took up a significant part of the trip, every second was enjoyable as Vicky shared with us the stories of WA and her life stories. The places Vicky brought us to were simply amazing (I am not going to tell you where, join their tour and you will know :p). This tour deserves our highest recommendation. I had a most amazing and enjoyable day! Kandu Holidays will take even one visitor out and mine became a private tour! Vicki is a very friendly and easy going lady. She chatted me up quickly while driving out of the city centre, to find out my interests and was able to tailor the day's activities and places to visit to suit my interest. As a result, she did not stick to the normal itinerary and I enjoyed my day tremendously. Her ability and willingness to adapt and make changes means that we do things that I like! We had a fantastic lunch at Berry Farm. She was generous and I could choose anything from the menu. The ambiance at Berry Farm was just great and the food was very good. Because of my interest in nature and forest, she brought me to Boronup Forest with its amazing trees. She did not just stay in the vehicle but walked with me and helped take photos. Hers is an experience company and she was willing to go out of her ways to please her customers and give them a great experience! Thank you very much, Vicki!

Vicki is such a lovely, caring and generous lady. I am surprised that Vicki still took me although I was the only one joining the tour on that day. The tour was very personalized and she took me to all those places I would like to see. She knows all the good shopping places and wineries. The tour was not in a rush. She loves her job and has passion in it as she loves making friends with people around the world. It was the greatest local tour I have joined in Perth. She even drove me to the airport after the tour to Margaret river and I feel so grateful to her! The tour is such a good value for money and she was delivering more than what a tour guide/company would normally deliver. Thanks for giving me such a memorable time in Margaret river and Perth!!

Thank you so much Vicki, we had an amazing trip with you. Great view and lunch at the goose. We brought up our concerns that we have been to the chocolate factory etc and we would prefer sightseeing and getting touch w nature. She brought us to the light house and Smith beach and we absolutely enjoyed our time there! Look forward to seeing you soon hahahhahahahaahah... Family with laughters.

Vicki is a very friendly and thoughtful lady. She prepared morning tea/coffee and even baked muffins for us to eat during the tour. She was never pushy and only brought us to visit places which we were interested in and where she genuinely recommended. My friends and I had such a great time even though it was just for a day.

Booked this trip in the uk and it looked good on our 4 day stop in excellent Perth. Confirmation email reassured us that it was going ahead ok. Andrew arrived at our Hotel smack on time and he immediately settled into his easy but informative style. By the time we hit the mid trip coffee stop he seemed like an old pal, especially as we were the only two on the trip. The Crooked Carrot cafe is excellent, well appointed and very clean. Good coffee too. From there to the lighthouse and coastal beaches, loved it! Andrew is as bespoke and flexible as it comes and so to the Margaret River region and lunch. Superb lunch stop and then the Wine trail including the town itself. Dwelt somewhat at the excellent Felix winery before over to Busselton. Sounds hectic but it was leisurely on perfect sunny and hot day. Andrew dropped us back in Perth city, probably an hour over schedule but he was so relaxed and obliging about us gaining the most from the excursion that it didn’t seem to influence him. A great day out in an absolutely goergous and unspoiled part of the world. Thanks again to Andrew. Would thoroughly recommend this trip !
