Established in 2000, the Bindi Mwerre Anthurre Artists studio is the first in Australia to occupy the intersection between supported studios and Aboriginal Art Centres.
The studio provides a means for Indigenous artists living with a disability in Central Australia to develop and receive recognition for their artistic practices. The painting process is an expression of self and a connection to country, upholding personal and cultural identity.

Just a 20 min walk from the town centre in the Alice Springs industrial area, the Bindi Gallery is open 9am-4pm Mon-Fri, showcasing the eclectic work of the Mwerre Anthurre Artsits as well as a range of merchandise. The studio behind the gallery can be visited by appointment.
